Pasea con Los Novios | Take a Stroll with the Lovebirds

Our favorite DMV spots for eating, vibing, & living la vida local. ;)

Great Falls - McLean, VA

One of our favorite hiking trails and picnic spots! We recommend packing some lunch (Jersey Mike's anyone? The bride's order is the original italian with hot peppers and the groom's order is the turkey and provolone with light mayo - both mike's way and with no onions) and then taking a loooong walk to enjoy the views.

Grazie Nonna - Washington DC

Grazie mille for this italian spot in DC. We LOVE this place - great food, great drinks, GREAT vibes. It's super cozy and we typically love to order the caesar or calamari, drunken love, and whatever dessert they have available (it changes frequently and NEVER disappoints).

Nats Park - Washington DC

Gotta love a good ball game! One of our favorite spots to enjoy a good dog and a good game. Metro-ing here is KING but, if you NEED to park, hit up SpotHero and hit it EARLY. Parking will especially be limited during the holiday weekend.

Silver Diner - Multiple Locations

Our love for Silver Diner runs DEEP. So much so that we got some of our engagement photos done here! Our faves are the campfire shake, cheese fries, tuna melt and the turkey club but you can almost never go wrong!

Restaurants - Old Town Alexandria

If you haven't been to Old Town, have you even been to DC? Some of our favorite spots here are usually by the water - Mia's Italian, Vola's, Ada's by the River paired with a nice long walk with ice cream in hand.

Roosevelt Island - Washington DC

another one of our favorite trails - just across the bridge from old town is this rad and scenic walking trail called Roosevelt's Island. Parking is free but limited so definitely go early during the holiday weekend!
